1. Get Java from here: http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp

2. Copy the downloaded ".minecraft" folder into the following hidden directory:

For Windows XP users in "C:\Documents And Settings\YourUserName\Application Data"

For Windows Vista & 7 users in "C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming"

3. Run "MinecraftSP.exe" and click "Enter Game".

4. If you receive an error message press "OK" until it starts.

5. When a newer version is available mark the checkbox "Force Update".
